Returning a large purchase can leave you organising protective packaging, finding a vehicle that can carry the load and meeting a warehouse delivery deadline. Deliverate helps you arrange a courier for an authorised return, with simple item-based pricing and a separate, transparent fuel surcharge.

Why a bulky return needs more planning

A parcel label may not solve a return involving glass, ceramics, long panels, assembled furniture or a heavy appliance. Check the packed weight, the longest section, the number of packages, access at collection and the supplier’s receiving hours. A head office or showroom may not be an authorised returns address.

How Deliverate helps

2. Choose a basic item type and check the packed-size, weight and route limits.
3. Fixed-price supplier returns use the itemised total in the return booking form. For ordinary courier quotes: Deliverate is free to list. Compare the available quotes and choose the service that suits your delivery. Your total price, including applicable VAT and any selected extras, is shown before you confirm and pay. Drivers keep their full transport quote with no Deliverate job fee deducted. Tracking and full POD cost the customer £15 + VAT (£18 including VAT) with a Free driver and are included with Drive It. Notifications provide up to nine SMS messages per order, including rescheduling and redelivery, plus corresponding emails where available: £9 + VAT (£10.80 including VAT), or included with Drive It + Engage It. One item price across suppliers

A bath uses the shared bath rate whether it is going back to this supplier or another retailer. Sinks, toilets, screens, radiators, tables and other basic item types each have their own shared rate. There is no need to price every product range separately. For supported items, check supplier return prices and start a booking. Review the full price, including fuel and VAT, before payment. For items outside the available options, request a return transport quote.

For faulty, damaged or incorrect goods, contact the retailer about its proposed remedy before purchasing independent transport. Check exclusions for fitted, assembled, personalised, cut-to-size or made-to-order goods, and keep the original packaging where required.
