Is it free to post a delivery request?
Yes. Posting a customer request costs £0. You compare quotes before choosing a courier. The transport amount and any applicable Deliverate booking charge must be shown in the total before a paid booking is accepted.
Here is how the marketplace and driver membership fit together.
What does a customer pay Deliverate?
Posting is free. Book through Deliverate from as little as £15, excluding the courier’s charges. The Deliverate booking fee is 15% of the courier’s charge, subject to a £15 minimum. Optional tracking and full POD can be added for £42 including VAT unless the selected service explicitly includes it.
How do the courier options compare?
For example, a £100 courier charge has a £15 Deliverate booking fee, giving a £115 total when tracking and POD are included. A £75 courier charge has the same £15 minimum fee, giving a £90 total without tracking or £132 with the optional £42 including VAT tracking and POD service. The courier’s agreed earnings remain the courier charge shown.
What is Deliverate?
Deliverate is a delivery marketplace extending Nexus it today’s Drive it module. Customers create delivery requests and compare courier responses. Eligible Drive it subscribers can access Deliverate jobs and manage delivery work.
Who chooses the driver?
The customer paying for the booking chooses. Multiple drivers may respond or quote. Responding does not automatically assign a driver to the job.
Can I start without an account?
You can start a delivery draft before signing in. Authentication is required to submit and participate. Register with a private email and a generated anonymous username. We ask for real names, full addresses and phone numbers only after you accept a quote. Contacts stay locked until verified payment.
Does posting mean my delivery is booked?
No. Your request still needs a suitable courier, your selection and the required confirmation and payment. If checkout is unavailable, the request cannot yet become a completed paid booking.
How much is driver membership?
Drive It costs £79 per month including VAT for one driver seat. Deliverate-only membership is free. There is no separate joining fee. Job-related charges, Google Maps usage and optional notification subscriptions are separate.
How does the first 50 driver offer work?
The first 50 eligible completed driver registrations can receive 90 days free from subscription activation. A card is required. The standard monthly price applies afterwards unless cancelled before the trial ends. Creating a login alone does not reserve a place. Internal test accounts are excluded.
How do I check launch-offer availability?
Check availability during Drive It signup. Eligibility is confirmed when registration is completed. We do not show an estimated or invented number of places on this page.
Do my own orders get tracking and POD?
Yes. Drive it offers tracking and proof of delivery for orders you input, not only work from Deliverate. Use the operational workflow and required device permissions to record progress.
Are notifications included?
No. Notifications are available as a separate optional subscription. Confirm availability, channels and price before subscribing.
What does posting a driver-network job cost?
Listing is free. The posting driver pays £42 including VAT when another driver accepts or a quote is awarded. Transport payment is agreed separately between drivers. This is distinct from a customer’s marketplace booking.
Do you guarantee work or earnings?
No. Marketplace demand and job suitability vary. Review the work, terms and costs before committing.
