What can I get a courier quote for?
Furniture delivery
Sofas, beds, wardrobes, tables, chairs and second-hand furniture bought from shops or private sellers.
Appliance delivery
Fridges, washing machines, ovens and other heavy household appliances that need a suitable van and handling plan.
Bulky and unusual items
Gym equipment, tools, trade stock, garden items, business equipment and other loads that may not suit parcel networks.
What information do couriers need to quote?
More detail normally means a more useful quote. Include the number of items, dimensions, approximate weight, collection and delivery areas, preferred dates, how flexible you are, stairs or lift access, parking restrictions, loading help and any specialist handling requirements.
Keep exact private addresses, email addresses and phone numbers out of public descriptions. They belong in the private booking stage.

How much does Deliverate cost?
Posting a delivery request is free. For a successful marketplace booking, Deliverate currently publishes a booking fee equal to 15% of the courier charge, subject to a minimum booking fee of £15. The courier’s transport charge is separate. Tracking and full proof of delivery can be included by the courier or added to an eligible booking for £42 including VAT.
