Describe the load accurately
List item or pallet count, dimensions and total weight. State whether the load is stackable, fragile or unusually shaped. Describe handling constraints and check that the selected courier can legally and safely carry the goods.
Explain how loading will work
Tell couriers whether forklifts, loading bays or a tail lift are available or required. Include business opening hours, booking-in requirements, site restrictions and the time expected for loading and unloading.
Keep commercial contacts private
Public requests should describe the work and approximate areas. After accepting a quote, enter exact addresses, named contacts and telephone numbers in the protected booking fields. Keep confidential customer references out of public descriptions.
Agree service and evidence
